Thirty-One, also known as Scat or Blitz, is a popular card game that combines elements of skill and luck. Played with a standard deck of 52 cards, the goal is to achieve a hand value as close to 31 points as possible.
Players are dealt three cards each, and they take turns either drawing from the deck or the discard pile and then discarding a card. Face cards are worth 10 points, aces are worth 11, and numbered cards are worth their face value. The first player to achieve 31 points or to have the highest hand value when the game ends wins.
