Portuguese Solitaire, also known as “Serpent Solitaire,” is a captivating single-player card game. It employs a standard 52-card deck and involves arranging the cards in a specific pattern. Initially, four cards are dealt to each of the ten stacks on the tableau, resembling a snake’s body. Cards can only be moved to adjacent stacks, following descending rank and alternating colors. The goal is to clear the tableau by sequentially removing cards in pairs, an Ace with a King or a 2 with a Queen. The game demands strategic planning and skillful movement to conquer the challenge and emerge victorious.
